Mark and I made the decision to move out to the family ranch house. It was a tough decision due to the fact we prefer to live small and we love living in town and riding our bikes for transportation BUT we welcome the change and know it is beneficial for everyone in the long run. The chaos comes from moving our stuff in with the existing household which we have determined must be pared down. It will be a process.

Hmmm, it's Sunday should we go shovel some dirt?
Isn't that what everyone does on Sunday's? Mark, Sandy, Julie, Jim, and I headed up to the spring box and dam on the other side of the freeway to see what needed to be done.
Looks a little filled up with dirt, don't it! As Mom and I diverted the water away from the clean out, Mark had the tough job of getting the rusty old bolts off. Boy was it black and mucky like when we opened it up. Some preferred to observe rather than jump in the black water. We diverted the water back once we opened the valve to let the water help with the work and in no time we created a nice large reservoir for the water to collect and fill the spring box.

Another great ride with friends!
Our dear friends Jeanne & Andy called a mountain bike ride on Sunday out in Pozo on a super fun trail called Fernanadez. Little did we know that the temperature would hover around 37* all day and it would feel like we were riding in the snow.
We started out with 19 rides and lost 5 due to lack of proper clothing. Pretty damn impressive the rest held out and continued. I personally had to stop and warm my hands and feet a few times, well, okay my husband may have helped warm my feet up too! All in all another epic ride with great friends.
